Aanyae was a GripTape Challenger in the Fall of 2023. Her Learning Challenge allowed her to discover her passion for fashion design, teaching herself how to sew and style clothes. She joined the Youth Leadership Board to promote self-confidence and leadership in young people. More than anything, she hopes to inspire youth to dare to dream big, no matter what the odds may suggest.
As a cyber-schooled student, Aanyae has explored several hobbies, such as pottery, coding, metalsmithing, and hydroponic gardening. She is also passionate about giving low-income and minority students access to college education at low cost. In her senior year, she is running a club dedicated to this mission. After high school, Aanyae wants to become a fashion designer who creates clothes that reflect a person’s inner self. She enjoys experimenting with new fashion designs and finding creative ways to express individuality through her work.
Outside of school, you can find Aanyae napping, watching Barbie movies, or spending her money on sushi and lattes!
