Catherine sweats details.

Catherine leads GripTape’s operational, programmatic, and systems-building activities. In other words, she makes sure everything works and, when it doesn’t, she helps the team find a solution. Catherine is the person at GripTape who (sometimes quite literally) makes sure the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed.

Throughout her career, she has worked with educators, administrators, and technologists to create innovative programs and tools that support powerful, effective learning. She has helped mom-and-pop programs grow into full-fledged nonprofits, worked on the product, research, and editorial teams at an ed tech company, and served as program director for an educational nonprofit that used architecture and engineering to teach core academic concepts.

Most days, you’ll find Catherine snuggling with her epically energetic — and loving — dog, Akon. And planning their next ball adventure.
